Survivorman

May 12th, 2008

Today is not a very good day to write but I'm gonna do it anyway, because this give me hope to survive in this dark moment. Today at twelve o'clock or near that time I suppose, our plane crash into the Atacama desert, we don't have enough food or water. When I said we is because I'm not alone in this problem our pilot Ricardo and my friend Marcelo are with me, the only problem is Ricardo's legs because are broken so if we don't found any food or water quickly I'm sure that he couldn't pass this night with life.
I ussually don't loose my judgment in this kind of adversity but the night is getting close and we don't have a plan to save us.

One hour later:

I have an idea but I'm not sure this going to work, anyway is better than nothing, the plan is to get close to a snake nest near us and try to get the eggs for food and then try to get some water of a group of cactus that are close to the plane, after that we have to try to move Ricardo into a kind of "bed" made with some parts of the plane and try to carry on with him away of plane crash because is to sunny in there.
I remember have seen a group of caves about 2 or 3 kilometers to the south so if we can get there maybe Ricardo have an oportunity to survive. Then we have to make a camp inside the cave to pass the cold night of the desert, so if we survive this night I suppose we can get some help tomorrow morning.

Very inventive writing here Eduardo - I like the idea of the snake's eggs!

Be careful with auxiliary verb use:
if we don't find any food or water rather than "if we don't found any food or water".

Also, you need to punctuate more with full stops and less with commas. Compare:
I have an idea but I'm not sure this going to work. Anyway it is better than nothing. The plan is to get close to a snake nest near us and try to get the eggs for food and then try to get some water of a group of cactus that are close to the plane. After that we have to try to move Ricardo... with the punctuation in your original.
